ABOUT ME

I’m Ema - a wedding, family, and editorial photographer based between New York and Europe, documenting love stories and life’s most meaningful celebrations wherever they unfold.

 

Originally from Europe, my journey into photography was anything but conventional. I earned my degree in Economics, but soon realized that numbers, market trends, and financial forecasts could never fulfill me the way human connection could. I was drawn toward something far more valuable: preserving moments that cannot be measured, recreated, or replaced.

 

Because I believe deeply in craftsmanship and intention, I formally studied photography and continue to refine my art every day. For me, photography is never about chance — it is about presence, preparation, intuition, and understanding the emotional architecture of a moment.

 

Some of my most treasured memories are rooted in photographs — childhood vacations, holidays, birthdays, first ski trips, school days, the moments where you are crying on Santas lap, those imperfect, beautiful family moments frozen in time. Those images became the living proof of love, growth, and belonging. They taught me that photographs are not simply images; they are heirlooms.

 

Today, as a wife, mother, and storyteller building a life with my husband, our son, and our poodle, Sem, I understand even more deeply how quickly life moves and how precious each season becomes.

 

That understanding shapes the way I photograph.

 

I am drawn to honest body language, lingering glances, unspoken tenderness, natural light, and the quiet in-between moments — the ones no pose can manufacture and no timeline can plan for. The moments that feel like truth.

 

My approach is deeply personal and intentionally unobtrusive, allowing you to be fully present while I preserve the feeling of your day with artistry and care. Whether it’s an intimate celebration, a private event, or an editorially inspired wedding weekend, my role is to create imagery that feels as timeless as the memories themselves.
